Producer and Engineer with nearly two decades worth of writing and recording experience under his belt, Andrew Manzano joined Ozone in early 2003, adding another face to the company’s growing cast of characters, another sentence to its story.
Grandson of a RCA Records Recording Engineer, C. O. Manzano, Andrew began experimenting with recording at the tender age of nine. With the support of his father and three brothers, all musicians, he banged on his first set of drums at age 14. One year later, he began programming and sequencing, which led to working on music for TV and radio commercials. As a former Darkchild Entertainment Inc. (Rodney Jerkins) staff engineer, Andrew’s credits include recording artists Lionel Richie, Brian McKnight, jazz great Roy Ayers, Tatyana Ali, rapper Ma$e, and gospel trio Trin-I-tee and 5:7. His writing and production credits include recognized musicians NSYNC, as well as the not so musically-known Philadelphia 76ers. Andrew’s talent has paved the way for several of his songs to reach #1 on the Billboard charts Profyle’s "Liar" on the R&B chart and Joe’s "Stutter" on the pop chart. He is currently developing recent Star Search Junior Singer champion, 10-year-old Tiffany Evans.
Having built his first professional recording studio at 27, he puts Ozone on the map in Atlantic City, where he owns and operates ProTools production facility, The Sound Tank.
